UFC 64: Unstoppable
Rich "Ace" Franklin returns to the octagon to defend his UFC Middleweight title for a third time in UFC 64 slated for October 14 at Mandalay Bay. This time his opponent is the mysterious Anderson "The Spider" Silva. Silva is coming off of a knockout victory over Chris Leben. Silva is known for his precision striking with power to knock anyone out.
Rick Franklin defeated David Loiseau at UFC 58. Franklin dominated him all five rounds and came away from the fight with several "self-inflicted" injuries. Franklin injured his hand on the face and head of "The Crow" early in the fight but stayed focus long enough to retain his middleweight title. This will be the Ace's third title defense and he doesn't plan on going anywhere in the near future.
The under card is still in the works with only one fight decided upon. Kenny Florian will take on Sean Sherk.
